The hotel is a twenty five minute drive from Manchester city centre, and fifteen minutes from the airport.
The bedrooms are medium in size, en-suite and have full facilities. They are tastefully decorated, although the furnishings are a little on the dark side. There are two restaurants in the hotel; jenny's which serves traditional English cuisine from a la carte and table d'hote menus, as well as as a carvery. The pizzeria restaurant offers a wide variety of pizzas and pastas in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The original building is a traditional Country House, with an added extension built in recent years. It is set in its own grounds, surrounded by two golf courses and open fields. The lobby is small in size, with a seating area and the decor is a traditional Country House style.
