This charming family run and owned hotel is located in Busby, next to Clarkston, in the suburbs of Glasgow. The centre is approximately at 15 minutes drive and both Glasgow City and Prestwick Airport are 25-30 minutes by car. Parks, Golf Courses, Theatres, Ice Rinks, Galleries, Cinemas and Sports Venues are plentiful, while the local rail network is two minutes walk from the hotel and gives easy access to all city venues and to the rich variety of shopping in central Glasgow.
Rooms are of a medium size and they are in good condition. Tastefully decorated, rooms are quiet, warm and comfortable. Rooms include direct dial telephone, hospitality trays, hairdryers, trouser press and satellite television.
The Gallery on the first floor can hold up 100 people serving international and local cuisine in the evening. The lounge bar is a charming traditional pub, extremely popular. The hotel is housed in a three storey townhouse style building overlooking the small Cartside river. The small lobby has a reception and few seats where are displayed brochures with information about the local area.
This is a charming property with friendly staff and excellent value accommodation. A beautiful hotel from which to visit Glasgow, while being able to relax in the quieter outskirts of the city.
