This hotel is in Polwarth, just a 10 minute drive from Edinburgh. This property offers guests a quieter and more relaxed stay, as it is away from the hustle and bustle of central Edinburgh, in a more tranquil countryside setting. The 10 bedrooms are decorated in a traditional fashion and located on the first and second floors. The hotel does not have a lift. Rooms are relatively basic and are small to medium in size.
The lounge restaurant is open from breakfast each morning then serving lunch, bar snacks and evening meals. There is a no smoking room. The Bar serves meals from 12:30 until 2:30pm and from 6:30pm - 9:30pm. This is a traditional style Victorian style building with very elegant facade. Small in size with a small reception area, the lobby area is a little dark and dated.
This is a basic hotel, close to the centre of Edinburgh and is recommended for those travelers on a tight budget.
