The hotel has perfect position opposite The Abbey and is situated in the city centre.
The bedrooms are medium in size. Some have a view over the gardens at the rear of the hotel. All rooms are clean and comfortable although some have been refurbished more recently than others. All rooms are en suite and have full facilities including colour TV, phone, tea/coffee making facilities etc
The restaurant is light, airy and very pleasant. It is decorated in pastel colours. The building is of typical Georgian architecture. The reception area is quite small, but pleasant, leading onto a lounge with seating area and where light snacks are served throughout the day
This is a nice family friendly hotel with perfect location offering good value for money.
